Got the freezer all set up. Why is the outside of my chest hot?
Mine does the same thing when it's running. As far as I know, its the basics of heat exchange and a normal byproduct of the cooling process. Like the heat from the inside has to get to the outside in order for the water to cool in the simplest of terms.
What’s the emotional recovery period between sets for these? The “these are easy to owwie” whiplash was immense.

What size is the freezer?
It’s 7.1 cu ft.
So I have a 5 cf Insigna chest freezer I'm 6'0" and weigh 165. Do you think I can make this work? I don't have the money to invest in a bigger one?
Yeah, it’ll be tight. Just need to test out how much water to put in it so you don’t overflow it when climbing in.

On my IG page you can find some. A lot depends on how tall you are. I’m 5’9” 185lbs. It worked for me, but I did just upgrade to a bigger model that is 14 cu ft. Plenty of room for activities in this one.

I'm learning this at the moment. I keep lifting my chest first. I can keep in good form during a plank and hold it over a minute at a time. I'm building it up to longer.
Biggest thing that helps me is squeezing my butt and quads really hard, that seems to keep my middle/core from sagging. Keep at it!

It held up great, but I’ve since upgraded to a 14 cu ft. But for what I paid for the 7.1 back in the day it was well worth the investment and never had any issues, until the compressor stopped working but that was after 4+ years of use.

I upgraded to a 14 cu ft one or I’d measure it right now. I thought I replied to someone else before with the internal dimensions but I can’t see the comment from a quick scroll. I think you’d be able to find dimensions on any of the manufacturers websites though.

100% David, plus it will allow you to potentially load it heavier and doesn't require you to get as low, such as with a DB.

I have a freezer outside i just keep thinking i will get electric shock if i filled it with water
I’m no electrician but if it is unplugged there should be no electrical current running through it. I’m shock free for like 5 years.
How do you drain it if you closed the drain hole?
I have an aquarium pump I got off of Amazon. Drop it in and drain it into my kitchen sink. Super easy.

Theres not an issue with the total weight. i want to do that in my apartment but im scared it will collapse
I can only speak from personal experience and I have not had an issue with that. Biggest thing that I do to mitigate that concern is I put it along an exterior wall, and I run it perpendicular to the floor joists. That to me is the most logical way to distribute the weight best.

Touche. I more so meant that I was going from spending around $10-$15 in ice every-time I was using my bathtub to ice bath to a one time purchase of the chest freezer and could do it every day.

I typically shoot for either a straight set of 30 steps one direction and 30 steps back or hit up like 3x10.

A towel is also good for your grip but the bounce of the band gives your posterior chain more to work on.
